About Libby Wattis

Libby Wattis

Welcome to my website. Please feel free to look around and you are welcome to contact me using the details on the contact page, either directly or through my agent, Direct Personal Management. Also if you would like to book my solo show, The Cleverest Thief, portraying a woman’s journey into dementia, please get in touch.

Since graduating from The Actors’ Company in November 2007 I have worked consistently, building up my skills and experience in well over 100 different acting projects.

My favourite roles so far have been Joan of Gaunt in Richard II, Grace Winslow in The Winslow Boy, Mrs Elton in The Deep Blue Sea, Mrs Telfer in Trelawny of the Wells and Mrs Rummell in Pillars of the Community.

I also loved playing Laura in the world première of Peter Gordon’s play Par for the Course.

In 2011-2012 I had a great year, playing one of Mrs Wilberforce’s friends in The Ladykillers, Egeia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and one of the Magi in The York Mystery Plays.

I am passionate about acting, and although my first love is the stage, I am also experienced in film, television and role play (both medical and corporate). I am also a voice artist, and a specialist in medical voiceovers.

In addition I am studying to be an actor-musician.  I now hold DipLCM recorders (descant, treble, tenor and bass), grade 8 clarinet and grade 8 piano. I continue my studies and plan to take  my ACTL recorder sometime in 2017 , DipLCM clarinet and DipLCM piano as soon as I am ready  .
